BEFORE YOU APPLY YOUR DECAL, READ THIS!
When you first receive your decal, inspect it. If your decal is rolled, bent, or creased- lay it flat and weigh it down with a flat heavy object for about a day, this will make it much easier to apply. For best results, We recommend ONLY applying your decal when your feel comfortable and confident, and the ambient temperature is between 60F and 85F.
STEP 1: Make SURE your Surface is CLEAN
Clean the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. DO NOT use a glass cleaner without cleaning again with soap and water because it will leave a residue behind that will prevent the sticker from adhering well.
STEP 2: Prep your Decal
Determine the exact location and placement of your decal by holding it up to your surface and checking that it fits where you want it. Rub a squeegee or credit card firmly across the decal 3 to 4 times through the clear transfer tape to prepare it for application. This ensures the vinyl image will cling to the transfer tape, and removes any air bubbles that may have formed.
STEP 3: Remove the Decal for Transfer
Turn the decal FACE DOWN on a flat surface and Peel the back side off/away from the transfer tape and design or letters. DO NOT peel the transfer tape/design away from the backing. If the Decal clings to the backing, slowly replace the paper backing and repeat Step 2(rub with your finger to create a bit of frictional heat).
STEP 4: Apply the Decal
Slowly lower the transfer tape with your decal onto the surface and rub it in place firmly with a squeegee or credit card from the middle outwards. When the decal is firmly placed and stuck to the surface, rubbing your finger across the decal a few times will create a bit of frictional heat to help promote adhesion.
STEP 5: Remove the Transfer Film
SLOWLY peel the transfer tape off at an angle. Be careful not to pull any parts of your decal off of the surface. If any of the vinyl image pulls away from the surface repeat Step 4. Ensure that your entire image has adhered to the surface. You may use your finger to gently press outward on any edges that need attention. Pat yourself on the back for another job well done!
